The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:<br />for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of<br />insight; for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is<br />right and just and fair; (Proverb 1:1-3)<br /><br />These verses clearly mention the purpose of the Proverbs<br /><br />2. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,<br />but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Proverb 1:7)<br /><br />We always admire intelligent and knowledgeable people. Intelligence<br />and knowledge can not provide us a happy and abundant life. Sometimes<br />they could make our life miserable if we don't have God live in us.<br />Intelligence and knowledge are good if they are guided by the Holy<br />Spirit in our heart. Hundreds of zeros are still zero until an one is<br />put on the left of them.<br /><br />3 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,<br />I will make known my words unto you (Proverb 1:23)<br /><br />The Word or the Wisdom in the bible is pointed to the Christ before<br />His incarnation. He is the Trinity God.
